Funding Circle is brilliant for alternate income streams. The normal Return on Investment can be as high as 8% which is better than many Hedge Funds. The way they process defaults is a lot better than some banks. When a lender defaults, Funding Circle will ease back on the payments allowing the business to recover. Often the business is able to return nearly all of the money lent.

Funding Circle was the 1st business to allow peer-2-peer lending for companies in Britain and now operates in the UK, US, Germany and the Netherlands. Funding Circle has facilitated over £5 billion in loans to small businesses as at June 2018. Funding Circle has been trading since 2010 and is a lending marketplace that enables investors to lend money directly to SMEs.
